OMCL
Official Medicines Control Laboratory
The Austrian Official Medicines Control Laboratory, OMCL, is a member of the European OMCL-network and since 2002 an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory. In December 2007 the re-accreditation procedures was successfully completed.
The OMCL belongs to the International Laboratory Forum on Counterfeit Medicines (ILFCM). In 2007 the OMCL was honoured by the former Ministry of Health, Youth and Family for their continued efforts for worldwide drug safety together wirth the seven other members of the ILFCM (International Laboratory Forum on Counterfeit Medicines).
