Due to the complexity and heterogeneity of source materials and manufacturing processes and the molecular structure of active agents, medicinal products derived from human blood and vaccines have to meet particularly high demands. Therefore, unter the Austrian Medicines Act, batches have to be officially released before products can be delivered on the market.
