After the completion or premature termination of a clinical trial, the sponsor has to archive any trial-relevant documents for a period of 15 years.

The investigator has to ensure that the documentation of the encoded assignment to the individual treatment groups is archived for a period of 15 years after the completion or premature termination of the clinical trial (see Art 46 AMG, 'Data handling').
