Accessibility

This page complies with the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0" of the W3C, Level A, as far as possible. Further information can be found here.

The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care makes every effort to ensure that the contents of the homepage www.basg.gv.at are as barrier-free as possible.

In addition to providing information for the main user groups of the homepage, the pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers/distributors, companies active in the field of blood and tissue as well as members of the health care professions and persons active in the health care system, the provision of information for patients and citizens is a major concern of the Federal Office for Safety in Health Care.

In the area for patients and citizens, special attention is paid to a language that can be understood by laypersons and barrier-free access to the contents. Unfortunately, due to technical circumstances, complete barrier-free access to the contents of the Federal Office for Safety in Health Care is not possible. If content is not accessible to you, please contact basg_anfragen@basg.gv.at for further information. We make every effort to make the content available to you in another way.

For reasons of easier readability, some contents do not mention both sexes; naturally, even if only the masculine form is used, the term always refers to persons of both sexes equally.
