The Federal Office for Health Safety has been informed that confirmed autochthonous cases of Chikungunya have been reported in the following regions in France:

Départements: Alpes-Maritimes, Bas-Rhin, Bouches-du-Rhône, Charente, Charente-Maritime, Corrèze, Corse-du-Sud, Côte d'Or, Deux-Sèvres, Dordogne, Drôme, Gard, Gironde, Haute-Corse, Hérault, Isère, Landes, Loiret, Paris, Pyrénées Atlantiques, Savoie, Val de Marne, Var, Vaucluse

Overseas Départements of La Réunion: Mayotte, Saint Benoit, Saint Denis, Saint-Pierre, Saint-Paul

In France, precautionary measures against the transmission of chikungunya through transfusion were lifted on 1 December for the 2025 season.
