The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care has been informed by the French authorities that the first case of Chikungunya infection in the south of FrFrance (near Toulon - Var) has been confirmed. has been confirmed.
Two other cases are suspected but not confirmed.
Therefore, appropriate attention is requested in the anamnesis interviews and donor selections.
