COVID-19 Tests - Delimitation and Responsibilities

Currently, three different test methods for the detection of COVID-19 are in use in Austria: PCR (polymerase chain reaction) tests, antibody tests and antigen tests. Depending on the design of the test procedure, there are different responsibilities for market access and market surveillance.
