Update: Dengue - France and overseas territories

The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care (BASG) has been informed that confirmed autochthonous cases of dengue fever have been recorded in the following regions of France’s overseas territories:

Départements: Hérault

Overseas departments: French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Réunion, Martinique, Saint Martin

Please refer to the following safety warnings for further information. We ask that due attention be paid to this matter during medical history interviews and donor selection.
