European Sperm Bank ApS - Donor: 25348/Stanly New

The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care has been informed by the Danish authorities that the Danish tissue bank European Sperm Bank ApS has provided the following information:
The following diagnosis has been made in an offspring of sperm donor 25348/Stanly: Glutaric aciduria type I (GA-1).

The donor/gametes have been permanently blocked.

If you have any questions, please contact the Federal Office for Safety in Health Care at gewebevigilanz@basg.gv.at or contact the tissue bank from which the sperm donation was obtained directly.
This letter corresponds to the current information status of the BASG. Further information will be provided as soon as it becomes available.
