The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care has been informed by the Danish authorities that the Danish tissue bank European Sperm Bank ApS has provided the following information:
The sperm donor 25656/Bertolt is a carrier of the OTOA gene.
The donor/the donor gametes have been permanently blocked.
If you have any queries, please contact the Federal Office for Safety in Health Care at gewebevigilanz@basg.gv.at or contact the tissue bank from which the sperm donation was obtained directly.
