New flu: Info hotline (05 05 55 555) & hygiene tips

To educate people about preventive hygiene measures to prevent the spread of influenza A(H1N1), the Federal Ministry of Health (BMG), together with AGES, the Austrian Medical Association and the Austrian Chamber of Pharmacists, has produced posters and leaflets reminding people of the most important hygiene measures. These are to be displayed in health care facilities, community facilities and around public transport.

The BMG has set up a hotline at AGES (05 05 55 555) to answer inquiries from the public. This is manned Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 20:00.
