Shivanya Beauty Cream

The product called "Shivanya Beauty Cream" is marketed as a supposed cosmetic product for skin whitening. The product was sampled in a grocery store in Austria and is also available on international online sales platforms.

According to official investigations, the product "Shivanya Beauty Cream" contains the undeclared active ingredients clobetasol propionate and betamethasone-21-valerate. These are glucocorticoids, so that the product is to be classified as an illegal drug. Furthermore, according to a warning in the EU rapid alert system for dangerous non-food products, the heavy metal mercury, which is hazardous to health, was detected in very high concentrations in the product in question (13500 ± 2700 mg/kg). The product in question is to be classified as toxic. It poses an incalculable health risk.

Importing this illegal drug from abroad is a punishable offence.
