The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care has been informed by ECDC (European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control) that 3 more human WNV infections have been recorded in Romania. New affected region is: Braila.
We therefore ask you to pay attention to this in your medical history discussions and donor selections. This letter corresponds to the current information status of the BASG. As soon as further information is available, it will be announced.
