The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care was informed by ECDC (European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control) that 25 more human WNV infections were recorded in Serbia. New affected region is: Macvanski.
It is therefore requested that the relevant information be taken into account in the medical history discussions and donor selections. This letter corresponds to the current information status of the BASG. As soon as further information is available, it will be announced.
