The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care was informed about two confirmed autochthonous WNV cases in the Vienna area.
It is therefore requested that appropriate attention be paid to this in the medical history interviews and donor selections.
This letter corresponds to the current state of information of the BASG. As soon as further information is available, it will be announced.
