Update: West Nile Virus (WNV) – Romania New

The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care (BASG) has been informed that confirmed cases of human WNV infection have been recorded in the following regions of Romania:

Counties: Argeș, Brăila, Bucharest, Buzău, Călărași, Cluj, Constanţa, Dâmboviţa, Giurgiu, Harghita, Ialomița, Iași, Ilfov, Prahova, Suceava, Teleorman, Vrancea
