The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care (BASG) has been informed that confirmed cases of human WNV infection have been recorded in the following regions of Romania:
Counties: Argeș, Bucharest, Călărași, Cluj, Giurgiu, Harghita, Iași, Ilfov, Suceava
