WNV Germany

The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care was informed by the ECDC that confirmed human WNV infections have occurred in Barnim, Ostprignitz-Ruppin and Saalekreis in Germany. We therefore ask for appropriate attention in the anamnesis discussions and donor selection.

This letter corresponds to the current information status of the BASG. As soon as further information is available, it will be announced.
