WNV Germany - Update

The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care has been informed by the ECDC that confirmed human cases of WNV infection have occurred in Germany in Anhalt-Bitterfeld and Halle (Saale). We therefore ask for appropriate attention in the anamnesis discussions and donor selection.

This letter corresponds to the current information status of the BASG. As soon as further information is available, it will be announced.
