The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care was informed by the ECDC that 10 autochthonous human cases of WNV infection have already been recorded in Greece in the current season. The following regions are affected:
- Karditsa (Trikala)
- Pieria
- Anatoliki Attiki
- Serres
- Thasos (Kavala)
- Xanthi
We therefore ask you to pay attention to this in the anamnesis discussions and donor selection. This letter corresponds to the current information status of the BASG. As soon as further information is available, it will be announced.
