The Federal Office of Public Health was informed by the ECDC that in Greece, in addition to the already known regions, an autochthonous human WNV infection was recorded in the Larisa region.
We therefore ask for appropriate attention in the anamnesis discussions and donor selection.
This letter corresponds to the current information status of the BASG. As soon as further information is available, it will be announced.
