To the Federal Office for Security in the Health Care was from the French authority informed that the first human WNV infection in France recorded was recorded.There existed no travel activity within the last 3 weeks before insertion of the symptoms.
The affected area is Nîmes, Département Gard (South of France).
To corresponding attention in the anamnesis interviews and donor selections is therefore requested
