WNV infection Romania

To the Federal Office for Security in the Health Care was from the Romanian authority informed that the first human WNV infections (neuro-invasive diseases) in Romania recorded were recorded.

The affected areas are Sibiu county and Milova (Dolj county).

To corresponding attention in the medical history interviews and donor selections is therefore requested.
