WNV Romania - Update

The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care was informed by ECDC that human cases of WNV infection have been recorded in Romania in addition to the already known regions in Arges, Bucuresti and Buzau.

We therefore ask for appropriate attention in the anamnesis interviews and donor selection. This letter is in accordance with the current state of information of the BASG. As soon as further information is available, it will be announced.
