The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care was informed by the ECDC that autochthonous human WNV infections were recorded in Hungary during the current season. The following regions are affected:
- Bacs-Kiskun
- Csongrad
- Hajdu-Bihar
We therefore ask you to pay attention to this in the anamnesis discussions and donor selection.
This letter corresponds to the current information status of the BASG. As soon as further information is available, it will be announced.
