The Federal Office for Safety in Health Care was informed about another confirmed autochthonous WNV case in Lower Austria. Thus far, 2 cases in Vienna and 1 case in Lower Austria have been confirmed. It is therefore requested that appropriate attention be paid to this in anamnesis interviews and donor selections.
This letter corresponds to the current state of information of the BASG. As soon as further information is available, it will be announced.
